On November 22nd, 2018, Hayk Harutyunyan, Chairman of the Board at the “Armenian Energy Agency” foundation was invited guest speaker during the session on “Energy, Balancing Traditional and Renewable Energy sources at the 13th Annual  International Conference on Eurasian Economic Integration.

During his speech, Mr. Hayk Harutyunyan presented the structural features within Armenia's energy system, as well as shared the Armenian Energy Agency’s vision with regards to renewable energy development and its future potential.

Members from participating nations have clearly stated that Armenia occupies leading positions in the development of renewable energy within the framework of the EAEU.

The conference was held under the auspices of the Eurasian Development Bank with attendees from several nations representing ministries, state corporations, international finance organizations, academic experts, professionals in the field of energy as well high level representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Since 2006, this annual conference is an effective platform for communicating and sharing types of experiences among financial institutions and public/private corporations.
