"Ayg-1" 200 MW solar photovoltaic station will be built in the administrative territories of Talin-Dashtadem communities of Aragatsotn region. The construction program was approved by the Armenian government at the May 21 sitting, based on the investment program of "Masdar Armenia" company.

The Armenian government will announce a tender for the construction of the station in the near future. The construction of a solar station will be handed over to the company offering the lowest price offer.

Three companies have passed the pre-qualification stage of the competition:

•  "Hydrochina Corporation" LLC
• "Gazprom Energoholding" LLC
• "Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company" PJSC (Masdar)
