The Solar Energy for Cultural Heritage initiative continues!
With the financial support of "Armenian Energy Agency" Foundation, "HSBC Bank Armenia" CJSC, and "Electrical Networks of Armenia" CJSC, a solar photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 20.71 kW will be installed on the roof of "Aram Khachatryan House-Museum" and the lighting system will be modernized.

Celebrating the 5th anniversary of its establishment this year, AEA has decided to promote the cultural emphasis of its core project - "Solar Energy for Cultural Heritage", making it special also on the occasion of the 120th anniversary year of Aram Khachatryan.
The initiative aims to support the Armenian cultural heritage site, particularly "Aram Khachatryan’s House Museum to operate more sustainably, mainly become more financially efficient, and more attractive to visitors. The program is also aimed at combating climate change.

Being faithful to their strategy for sustainable development, HSBC Bank Armenia and Electricity Networks of Armenia are implementing some programs promoting energy conservation, contributing to building a sustainable economy. Following this strategy, it is aimed to support the Armenian cultural heritage object through this project.

Continuing cooperation with "HSBC Bank Armenia" CJSC and "Electrical Networks of Armenia" CJSC, it is planned to build a solar PV system with an installed capacity of 20.71 kW on the roof of "Aram Khachatryan’s House Museum" SNOC and modernize the lighting system of the museum. The implementation of the works was entrusted to the "Solar.AM" company.

Solar PV stations will produce about 29,000 kWh of electricity annually, saving about 1,550,000 AMD, which will assist the museum in satisfying its energy needs through solar energy. The cost savings will be directed to the publication of the notes of the composer.
